2011 Ventana Satellite wiring
I'll be installing a satellite dome on my 2011 Ventana (not LE) 3962.
The bedroom has a sat connector labeled "to satellite receiver" - Where is the other end of that connection? Service tech at local dealer did not know.
In A/V cabinet at front of coach above driver is a satellite access plate which, when removed, reveals a large conduit with a single orange wire in it, I assume a pull wire which goes up to the roof under the satellite prep plate. There are a couple of white wires running outside of the conduit (not through it) which I assume are 12v and can be tapped into to provide power for the satellite. Is this correct?
Where does the bedroom satellite coax terminate?

Not sure how they are wired, we ordered our DSDP with an automatic dish already installed. The selector switch in ours is in the cabinet over the dash in front of the driver. It controls the satellite, over the air antenna and cable splitting. By now they have probably changed everything around though.

RV wiring is inconsistent.
The Sat cable end in the bedroom may go to the bedroom TV for a connection to a bedroom Sat receiver or it may go up front to the AV cabinet.
Most Sat dishes have their own control cables and the conduit is just access from from the AV cabinet to the roof. Non of the factory wires were used when I had my Sat dist installed.

Don't think it goes to the bedroom TV as its RF/coax input is already occupied by the roof antenna input.
Would there be someone at Newmar that would have a schematic of the coax runs for my coach?

You can always call Newmar Customer service and they can tell you where the cable should go. Newmar is usually very helpful.

But, as I noted above, us Newmar owners, and probably most other brand owners have found that wires don't always go where the wiring diagram indicates.

Appreciate the information. Sound like no two are quite alike. I will call Newmar and pop the sat prep plate on the roof.

Thank you. I suspected as much. I will get the sat prep plate off and see what's there.

Mystery solved
Removed Dicor and sat prep plate from roof.
Could feel cutout in roof through covering and used a box cutter to open.
Other end of RG-6 from bedroom visible as well as conduit to front with other end of pull wire inside.
