Question 2012 Ventana LE where is my inverter?

Hi,

I just took delivery on my 2012 Ventana LE Coach (loving it!), I have been searching for my inverter/charger but "no Joy". My floor plan is a 3634. Anybody know which bay I should look in?

I am scoping out what to do to install an auto-start control for my "genny".

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Hi park_ridge_dave,
Congratulations on your new coach. Welcome to the Newmar Owners Forum. Finding the inverter is truly one of a Newmar Owner's "rite of passage". Do not feel alone. The location is unique by year model and sub model (floor plan). Look in the bays:
1. shore cord electrical compartment
2. any of the bays along bay dividing wall
3. any of the bays mounted on one of the raised rails (on the outside or inside the rail)
4. the ceiling of the any bay

It should be in the basement somewhere. Once you find it, determine where the breaker is located. For sure, on a dark and stormy night the inverter breaker will pop and need to be reset.

Go to https://comnet2.newmarcorp.com/insta.../2012VLDPB.pdf to obtain a brochure of your coach.

On our 3843 it is mounted on one of the frame rails in the large pass through bays.

Good luck

Thanks Guys!

Gary and Tcam,

Thank you! I am going out to search some more (third time today lmao). I'll keep looking until I see something.

Cheers,

Dave

It is located in the front (smaller) pass through compartment. It is in the center, between the frame rails above the compartment.

Thanks Onegeorge1

I will retract the slide, unload the bay and crawl in for a "look". And yes there is a lot of equipment in the basement!!!!

Cheers,

Dave
