2013-2015 Dutch Star Improvements?
Hi all,
I'm looking to upgrade my RV and recently joined this forum... since it seemed to have all of the answers to my questions.
I've been looking at 40' Tiffin Phaetons and Monaco Knights, and over the last few days stumbled across the Dutch Star. Wow, you should be proud owners... they are amazing! Seem to be a notch above what we've been considering, both in quality and price, but I'm interested enough that we're going to go check some out this weekend.
I'm not sure if I can stomach the premium on the 2015's, so was curious if folks could share what's changed from the 2013 > 2014 > 2015. Looks like prices, even for new 2014s, are more in my range.
Thanks!

The changes between 2014 and 2015 are greater than the changes between 2013 and 2014.
For 2015 changes, look here. One thing I don't see listed is that the front entrance door on the Dutch Star is straight top to bottom, instead of having an angle on the upper part. That would allow a longer hinge and better sealing.
For 2014 changes, I attached a PDF that was listed with the 2014 order sheets.

In '15 Dutch Stars got heated floors as an option, highline roof and the new basement lighting.
The highline roof lets it have Girard awnings, but no rear ladder.

The list of changes from 2014 to 2015 are numerous. Led lighting now standard. Led lighting in all lower bays. MH style front and rear caps. Full coach tile is now standard. The list goooooes on. We were looking at a 2013, then the 2014's came out. Multiplex wiring came as standard in 2014, got have that. Then the 2015 came out and with Heated floors available, now we GOT-A-HAVE-THAT. But the condo hasn't sold and by the time it does the 2016 may be out. By the way check the CCC capacity of the Phaetons. We are having a ton of fun figuring out the best full timing floor plan for us. Randy

Just an FYI Ryan, but don't go off of MSRP, they will come down off that at least 25%. I am battling the Ventana vs DS choice.
