2013 Bay Star ride improvements???
I have driven a few hundred miles in the new-to-us RV and the front ride needs some improvement, what are people recommending?? I have seen ride rite air bags? the sway is not a problem, just the vibration of hitting bad roads. I did check the air pressure in all tires and it is 92psi, the recommended pressure from Newmar. Thanks for advice in advance. Daryl.

That tyre pressure is at max loading, I'd weigh your rig and then go to the tyre manufacturers' tech data to find the pressures. When I did this I found the tyres needed to be at 80 psi not 92.

Hi Gremlin: where would I find the site for tire pressure?? Seems to me I do not have the RV at full load and I would only adjust pressure in the front tires. Thanks. Also will look into the Koni shocks!

I'd search on whatever tyres are on your rig, for goodyear for instance a little bing usage found me this: Weighing your RV - Goodyear RV which has a ton of information including tables on inflation amounts for various tyres at various weight loading.

Hi Gremlin: I followed the link, Thank You! I am around 19,500 LB fully loaded, so my pleasure in the tires is about 10psi to much, going to try deflating them before I consider shocks. Talked to my local Goodyear shop (A place I know the people since I get my car worked on there) and they agree with my assessment based on the Newmar #'s listed on my RV. The UVW is 16,715 so adding a full load of water @ 670 LB and people and cargo of 2,000 LB I am around my 19,500 figure; 3250 LB per tire!

Do yourself a huge favor and get it weighed. Front and back individually.
You can get it done at truck stops, feed mills quarries etc.
Using mfg. weights is just guessing. After you weigh it you can set tire pressure accurately.
