2014 Dutch Star slide controllers

Does anyone know the location of the slide controllers for the bedroom slides on a Dutch Star? Ours is a 2014 model 4373.

I just finished replacing a broken slide drive shaft -- the one that goes through the cogwheel nearest the motor. It appears to have been over torqued and
I want to adjust the controller to reduce the motor current shut off point.

On my 2015 all three slide controllers are in the basement, passenger side, last one by the duals. I also had to replace a bedroom slide motor and put the controller in learn mode after the replacement. My bedroom slide controller has no adjustment for current (C Storm rev-B).

flyingfarm!
Our controllers were located on the passenger side in the compartment just in front of the rear dual. Of course Canyon Star is gas, but since another DS owner reported a similar location the odds are good for you.

Just a note on the replacement, I replaced the shaft on our bedroom slide early on, probably in 2010, it looked like it was overtorqued. Turns out Newmar had an issue with a whole bunch of driveshafts around that time, found out through posts on this forum that they ended up replacing others for no charge (unfortunately mine was first so I paid).

My control was already turned down all the way, it was definitely the driveshaft. The replacement worked well until we sold it, and I believe it is still working for the new owner (he contacts me with questions occasionally and sent me Holiday greetings a month ago).

Thank you all for responding.

I found the motor controllers for the front slides in the rearmost open bays but still cannot find the bedroom controllers. I will call the Newmar service line and see if they can help.

The drive shaft that broke was made out of cast iron. Didn't that go out with the 19th century? I purchased some steel bar stock with a key way pre-cut to make a new shaft. Hopefully, it will hold up better.
