2015 DS4369 Windshield wipers stopped working

My windshield wipers worked fine for about a half hour, then stopped. About a half hour later they worked. The next time I used them (in a bad storm) - same thing.

After about 40 minutes, they quit again. Now they won't come on again, even several days later.

At first I thought it might be an overheated motor. I ruled out a fuse because they previously came back on.

Today, we did check the only fuse we could find and it was good. A friend suggested that some wires in the steering wheel may be at fault. He moved the telescoping wheel in and out a few times and pressed some of the wiper buttons and they came on for a few seconds and stopped again.

Thoughts? Similar experiences?

TIA!

Sounds to me like you may have a loose wire connection somewhere. With the switch on, I would start wiggling wires to see if I could find the one that is loose. Good luck!
