2015 Dutch Star 3736 slide issues

We have a 2015 DS 3736 with 3500 miles. During the sale/orientation of the unit the kitchen slide made a "jumping motion" at the end of the retraction cycle. Asked if that was normal and the tech. said it was "normal". After a few weeks later on vacation it occurred more often and even on the outward movement of the slide. Went back to dealer to have it inspected/repaired. The defect was the cog plate which was worn out because of misalignment. The dealer didn't have any replacement parts, since in their words "there was a run of these problems recently". They shimmed up the original plate and said to replace as soon as possible after returning home (1500 miles away from dealer). Presently awaiting another Newmar dealer to ascertain the true cause of the problem, not just replacing the plate, and repair it correctly. Have other 2015 DS owners had problems with the kitchen slide and is this a prevalent/systemic problem with the slide?

This is the most recent thread on the kitchen slide problem, heads of bolts may snap off because of to much tension or bolts not into framing of slide and pop out from plate, thread has what some have done to resolve problem.
The noise you heard was plates already popped during PDI with dealer.

We were told by the factory delivery tech that this was normal too. Ours was shimmed with two additional plates on the front and one additional on the back. It's a total mess after just 4k miles.

If you look through this slide spec found in QT's 1 & 2 , where all slide info is found, you can compare your slide mechanism to what your have for your kitchen slide the plate issue is new to me if its been changed for 2014-16 years the spec may point that out as being different.
