2015 Dutch Star Slide Not Working

I have a 2015 4369. The passenger front side stopped working yesterday. It is about one inch from shutting. Motor sounds like it hums' but slide does not go out or in. I ordered a new Intellitec controller this morning to try. Anything else I should look at if this does not work before taking it back to the dealer? Thanks

I've watched many of Darren's videos. If you have two of the same controller you can switch the unknown one with the good one. If the slide just has one motor than you can apply power straight to the motor.

Good luck.

Welcome to the forum.
Here is a link with many answers for you and within it is this link on slide systems and the many problems you could have in time.
One main problem is lose motor mounting bolts that can cause damage to gear housings or snap of torque bushings, if you have 12v locks when locks are exposed outside when slide is opened the Actuator contacts can rust.
Good luck with the problem and enjoy the coach.

Assuming you can still open the slide do so & manually squeeze the slide lock paddles outside under the slide. Eliminate the possibility one of the slide locks isn't closing properly.

X2 on the slide out lock, my front lock on the passenger was frozen and would amp out the motor, causing everything to go haywire. If it is frozen or stiff. You can lubricate it from the top. I used a small clamp with rubber feet to operate the lock and keep it in the locked position to get the lube down the channel that the rod moves inside of. Another thought is to put the controller in the manual mode and operate it manually at the controller. Newmar will email you the instructions.
