2016 4369 DS- Changing out couches

2016 DS 4369 on a FL Chassis- We have the standard hide-a-bed on the drivers side and jack-knife couch on the passenger side. We also have the booth dinette. We would love to have recliner chairs on the drivers side, but also want to keep the hide-a-bed.

I am thinking of taking the jack-knife sofa out and move the hide-a-bed into its spot and then add a double recliner with console (all one piece) on the drivers side...anyone try that ?? and how do you remove couches...how are they bolted down ?

Any input would be appreciated 🙂 Cheers !!! Curt from Seattle heading south soon !!!

We have the same setup. I'm replacing the drivers side sofa with a setup I purchased from Bradd & Hall. It's 2 theater/recliners with a console between them. Ordered it at their shop back in August. Anticipating delivery in January. When the new furniture comes, I'll be looking into how the old comes out.

I had something similar in our Kountry Star. We replaced the factory couch with Lambright theater seats.

The original couch was installed with just wood screws into the floor. We installed the theater seats with two 1/2" bolts through the floor in the back where it was easy to get nuts and washers on under the slide. The front was installed with heavier hex head lag bolts since access under the floor was more difficult.

The theater seats disassemble very easily. The backs just slide up and off once you figure out the little locking tab that you move with your thumb. The center section is held onto the two seats with two bolts on each side.

The couch was pretty easy to figure out. A couple of bolts removed the back, then a couple bolts to remove the sides, finally the front comes off leaving only the metal frame for the bed. Easy enough to figure out with a little investigation.

Check under the passenger side coach. You might find a 5" wooden riser used to clear the slide mechanism. It's not a flat floor and the couch is designed to handle it. At least it's that way on my 2015 DSDP 4018.
