2016 Baystar Sport can’t get headlight bulb out
Ok, I’m pretty handy but I can’t figure out how to get the headlight bulb out of my 2016 newmar baystar sport. Of course visibility isn’t good so I can’t see if there is a locking mechanism that I am not aware of. Any advice?

So I went out to my BSS to see if I can help. You’re correct, not much room to see, etc. But, I did take a picture of the connection with my phone. Maybe it’ll help you figure it out. This is the driver side.

Typically, they're just a twist lock and you have to do it blindly.

I twisted hard each direction and nothing was budging. I may actually need to unbolt and remove the whole headlight assembly so I can reach it.

Look at the new bulb.....if it has two tabs, one larger than the other for "clocking" the bulb, it's a twist lock. Sometimes, if you can't get a good grip on it, you won't be able to put enough twisting force to unlock it. Removal of the light may be the only option.

I can’t even find information about what new bulb I would need to buy.

Almost every bulb that I’ve replaced has to generally be depressed and turned counter clockwise. Sometimes the bulb rotates and sometimes the whole socket. Be sure to grab the bulb with a napkin so that if it breaks it won’t cut your fingers. A slightly damp napkin will keep it from slipping.
Sometimes taking a picture of it and taking it to an auto parts store will get you help on removal.

I have a 2017 BSS. The headlights are identical to a Toyota Tacoma pickup but I'm not sure of the year. I went on YouTube and found a video on aiming them. Once you figure out the model year you can find out how to release the bulb housing.

Perhaps a call to Newmar will help.
