2016 Canyon Star Furnace Help !

Hi Newmar owners , have a problem , can't seam to get the Furnace to go on.
Domestic thermostat when you go to mode 1 And cycle though the setting .....cool , fan , auto , etc . There is no setting for Furnace or heat , what am I doing wrong......I have checked all fuses and they are good .

Should thermostat have a mode for heat or furnace......

Or is the dip switch on thermostat not set right ......

Thanks guys

The gas furnace (FURN) on our coach is on zone 1. Heat pumps (if ordered ) are available as HP on both zones. If the system does not see a furnace or HP suggest you unplug from shore power and turn the battery disconnect above the entry door to off for a minute. then put everything back on and see if the "reboot" helped.

Anyone know where the thermostat dip switches are located?
Is there a control box some where in the coach that everything is connected to
That feeds the thermostat ?

I have a 2012 and it has 2 furnaces as well as 2 ac/hp. The thermostat has settings for Cool, HP, Auto, Furn, Fan, Off for both zones. My understanding of the dip switches is on the ac/hp on the roof--need to be set differently from the two units so the thermostat will control each. The furnace runs off of propane only. Have you checked that system for being turned on and proper operation?

Ok mite have to phone the Mother Ship tomorrow and get some tech help.
I think that the system is automatic, and mite operate as follows . Because I have two heat pumps if the outdoor air temp is above 35 deg F and the thermostat calls for heat it will turn on heatpumps first to warm up RV.

When temp outside drops below 30 deg . F then the thermostat will call for Furnace to come on instead of heat pumps.....

There is no setting on thermostat for Furnace or heat, so you can not command on or off.

Maybe when outdoor temp is below 30 deg F then the thermostat will show Furnace or heat ???

Just guessing right now .......?

Anyone have same system and the temp. Outside Is above 35 deg F and does you thermostat show a heat or furnace??

On mine this was not true as I had the HP's on at 55 degrees as well as the furnace, either or. Not a joke or attempt to be smart, mine was a US model, I have read that some of the Canadian safety standards with propane are different. I recently sold mine or it be in the garage testing it for you. Has it ever worked for you?

They are all built in the US, I was referring to the extra Canadian certification. See the picture from 2018 CS order form:

Same coach same system. System shows HP and FURN above 35 degrees. System will auto switch from HP to FURN at low 30s. Shows both modes at any temp. Obviously only FURN will run at low temps. It will also switch back automatically to HP mode when its warm enough like after a night in the teens and mid morning temps warm up.

That definitely sounds like a configuration problem - above my pay grade! Mothership is the right call.
