2016 to 2019 Full Wall slide need to check your bedroom slide motor assembly

We have a 2018 London Aire model 4531 which has the HWH full wall slide and then the 2 smaller slides on the passengers side of the coach. A couple weeks ago after owning a Essex and before that another LA we need to checking the slide out motor on the kitchen slide and all 4 bolts were loss. Put 4 studs in and double nutted the motor in and we think we are OK. You can check back on this post to get more details on the kitchen slide.
Today was the day to check the bedroom slide motor assembly and I must report there is concern for other Newmar owners who don't check this slide. The motor assembly is under the bed under the second floor which will require you to take everything out from under the bed and find the 4 screws that hold the 1st floor in place. What I found was the the bearing assembly that is on the other end of the shaft the 4 bolts were all finger loss and that there was 1/2 washer that was to large to fit good with the 3/8 bolt and no Lock-tight. Replaced the to large washers with 3/8 fender washer, extra washer on the bottom side of 4 bolts and used blue Lock-tight. The motor bolts were a little loss so removed them and again used Lock-tight on them. Hard to work in that area and spent 3 hours on this. All looked like well built but again it's bolts coming loss that can and has caused hundreds of owners thousands of dollars. Suggest when you can either check them your self or have a service center check it out. Still love Newmar but we irv2 need to know what we need to do to keep our coaches from issues like this.

Newmar will be checking my slide out motors May 6 along with adjusting my kitchen slide. It has moved forward for some reason an increased the rear gap.

Thanks Tom. I understand where to find the motor under the bed. Where are the motors for the full wall and kitchen slides? It seems someone posted those locations along with pictures a while back, but I can't locate that post now.

In your Dutch Star the full wall slide is hydraulic and there are no motors. In the kitchen slide, open the bins under the slide and look up, close to the door. There are two slide motors that are each under a black plastic covers in two different bins.

Thanks so much Paul. Couldn't see anything under the full wall side.
