2016 Ventana Vanity LEDs failing

Just purchased a new 2016 Ventana 4037 and some vanity bulbs in rear bath and 1/2 bath are failing. How do you remove the bulbs and what is the replacement number? Tried pushing up really hard and turning clockwise, but cannot get out. Thanks.

Hmmm, thought they fixed this problem with the 2015s? I too tried DIY... got the cover off with a firm pressure and counterclockwise twist. But did not figure out how to replace the LED unit. Saving it for my next service visit. I here there is a known problem with some of these.

They may not be removable. Newmar had a rash of failed recessed lights with non-replaceable LED's that they are replacing at no charge, I'd contact them, it's possible they are seeing these fail also and may replace them at no charge, either under warranty or as a goodwill gesture.

Newmar changed out all of my LED's at the factory last year. When I spoke with the tech about how to change them, he talked me through it. There is no easy way...its more or less "delicate" brute force. I'm glad they did it rather than me.

Contacted Newmar customer service and they shipped me complete new fixtures. The led bulbs are not replaceable. Easy to replace if you are comfortable working with light fixtures. Fuse to drop the power is in the 1/2 bath so you don't have to mess with any other power concerns. The only somewhat annoying thing was the power leads coming from the wall are very short so it makes it a little difficult to attach the new wires from the fixtures. Guess they never thought these would fail!

Newmar did the the same for me and sent an entire new fixture. Seems like a waste for one bulb going out and agree with the short wire issue. Now the light has gone out again. Since you are having the problem too, it appears they need to change manufacturers so we have reliable lighting once we have to start paying for these things ourselves.

I'm going to address it when we go for some warranty work at Nappanee on August 1st.

I've got a 2015 4037 that is 14 months old. Not a single LED out yet.

My 2015 DS is almost a year old now. At less than 4 months there were 4 of the ceiling lights out. In another month one more was out and by 5 months later at Nappanee that number doubled. I was told all would be replaced but the work order showed only 10. After reaching back home i discovered several more very dim with only about 1/2 the light burning. Immediately contacted Newmar but no word yet what will happen next.

In your case, it's obvious ALL of your LED's should be replaced. They must have drawn from the bad batch for your entire coach.

We seem to have escaped the bad batch(s). With LED's, if they last 14 months, they are good for many more years.
