2017 Ventana Le 4037 Bose Sound Bar on exterior TV

Unable to get the Bose sound bar to turn on. Bose Sound Bar model number 418775.

Did the following:

Check the batteries in the remote with a volt meter and the batteries are good.
Check the power to the sound bar and have 20 volts DC.
The Bose wall switch is set for TV.

When pressing the remote on button the sound bar status indicator light should turn green but it does not . No status indicator light are on.

I suspect that the remote is bad after reviewing the owners manual under Customizing the Power Button, states press the CBL-SAT button and the TV button at the same time and both buttons for ten seconds and both buttons will flash three times. I tried this nothing happens. Also, when pressing any button on the remote,the button should illuminate, but they do not.

Do I have to purchase a new Bose remote? I thought of purchasing an after market remote but I can not find any codes for Bose.

Get your other Bose and try that. Is the power cord fully inserted. Your Bose could be bad as well if it’a not powering up. If you have extended warranty, they will cover it. Contact NIRVC if you need to schedule an appointment. You can order another remote but you will have to pair it. Contact Bose tech support for help with your current remote before purchasing a replacement.

Too bad people don't post results of issues. This is the same problem I have with my outside Bose now. Oh well.

A while back I was at a campground and there was a Ventana Le like mine with the same sound bar. I tried my remote on their sound bar and it did not work. I borrowed their remote and my sound bar did not work.

I have a service contract once something else requires repair I will submit a claim.
