First time on this site and not sure what I'm doing.
I have a Newmar Bay Star 3124 and cannot figure out the TV connector in the basement used as an "output" connection for a exterior TV or a TV mounted in the basement. Is there a connection between my Satellite receiver and the basement to plug into? Right now the only way I can figure out how to get a signal to the outside TV is to bring a cable down from the bedroom TV receiver to the outside TV
I'm obviously technically challenged.

The cable connector in the basement at rear of coach is the input (i.e. from the campground post). All TV's should have wiring to them. If you are watching satellite, then you just need to be sure to have satellite antenna on, and tv's set to appropriate inputs.

Are you talking about the cable connector at the rear of the coach or in a bay on the passenger side?

If you're still having issues, it might be better to post this question in its own thread. You'll get a lot more eyes on your question and probably a pretty quick answer.

Biggest news so far is that Bay Star Sports appear to have LED lighting instead of incandescent.

The lights were the first thing we changed.

The bunk bed sofa looks pretty trick, interesting! We also changed to LED lights right off the bat, don't think we even did a trip with the incadescents.

We looked at a Bay Star for the first time last week. Absolutely loved the 3401 with the full wall slide. It was mentioned earlier in this thread the additional space for the driver in the 2018. I'm 6'4 and that would be a big selling point for me. I also noticed the outside kitchen was added. Another upgrade. Don't want to buy new but.....

We were looking used for a while. Other brands were too much money for too little motorhome. But Bay Star is a lot of MH packed into a small package and for a really good price.
There are fixes for the driver's seat issue but not having to worry about it is nice. Nice to see Newmar responding to complaints/concerns and making a fix. A lot of other manufacturers wouldn't do that.

I spoke with our dealer yesterday. He informed me that the 2018 information should be on Newmar's website next week (week of June 12th). He didn't give a day so I'm not sure if that means Monday or what, but he said next week.
In other news, he is expecting a 2018 Bay Star 3113 in early November. We plan on going to look at it and discuss ordering our own (assuming that one isn't close to what we would order anyway and we decide to cut our the middle man, so to speak). So in July, we should be able to bring back som first hand info on the new Bay Stars.
Until then, look for 2018 info next week!

And since information is flowing now, here's the stuff we got from our dealer a few weeks back. No standard equipment but a lot of info on what's changed in the 2018 Bay Star and Sports. I didn't want to post before and get my dealer in hot water with Newmar
