2018+ London Aire Headlights

I believe 2018 was the refresh for the current model of the London Aire. Does anyone know what vehicle the headlights are from on the LA?

If not, could a LA owner post the DOT numbers found on the headlight so that we can research it?

I am looking for HID/LED housings. On my 2019 DSDP I replaced the bulb with an LED bulb, but the housings do not do a good job when you just replace the bulb. You really need a housing designed for LED.

I had excellent results just replacing bulbs with this product:

Just had to pull a bulb, check the bulb type (my 16 Ventana had H13) and installation was fairly quick and easy. I did have to make a minor adjustment on each bulb but that was easy enough. Huge difference in night driving - I can actually see the road!

I agree--those bulbs do work well. The problem is the beam pattern is not controlled. I constantly get drivers flashing at me when on low, and the cycle between low/high doesn't change the vision the way it should.

I also discovered that the MA is the same headlight as the LA, so this opens the survey up to owners of either MA or LA

While doing factory pick-up on my coach I replaced the standard headlights on my 2021 DSDP with LED bulbs as well. Had the service center confirm they were aimed appropriately as well. (They have a wall marked at proper height with a line on the ground for the proper distance for the test too.) There is ample space to get the new bulbs in the housings and have the cooling fins in place. I did have to zip tie the 'drivers' to something though as they weighed a bit more than I expected.

The LEDs made a huge difference in night driving, but like RedBaron says, the pattern is an issue and I get a bit of flashing from oncoming drivers even when on low beams. I feel a bit guilty, but I can at least see the road in front of me now and I feel relief knowing the service center did validate the alignments.

2017 must be the refresh year. I wasn't sure where that was.

The headlights are a match--thank you.

FWIW -- These are from a 2013 Honda Odyssey.

A quick search doesn't show that Honda ever made factory LED lamps for this, so LED bulbs are still the best option.

Looks like there may also be some HID options. Not sure if they are better or worse in that housing.
