2018 MA build timeline
I spoke with Linda in CS today about getting pictures as our coach goes down the line. Our dealer told us 6/28 production date. She was able to give me the breakdown and it actually started in the Chassis Plant today. So we were one of the lucky 2018 orders to start before the July 4th break. Our coach was in run #5 which makes total sense as today is Friday day 5 of the week. For those interested the following is our specific timeline from beginning.
Started gathering information week after the Dealer Show in Florida.
Sent out build sheets to 6 dealers first week of May.
Chose Jon Steinbring at Steinbring Motorcoach 5/4/17
Worked on specials from 5/4-5/18, very few specials for us.
Production Order from Newmar 5/19/17 signed and returned.
Chassis Plant production 6/23/17.
Main Building 6/28, then stalls for July 4th shutdown.
Completed in main 7/12 sent to paint and finish
Ship to Steinbring 7/31
Then the dreaded wait beginsnto go get it. We can't go until the 9/10 as Aug is completely full with other commitments.

awesome HMF23...
my DS order went in on 6/6 and we signed off on all the specials and paint prints on 6/14 and 6/15....
no production date yet....
i am hoping for a mid to late september delivery.....
using north trail in FL......

If you don't mind my asking, who were the dealerships that you asked for quotes from?

We placed our order in May and are scheduled for week 9. Order placed through Midway. Anticipated delivery date is the last week in August. Yes, the dreaded wait!

We sent out our build quotes to the following dealers:
1. Steinbring Motorcoach
2. Midway RV
3. NIRVC
4. Transwest
6. Independence RV
7. Holland RV

They will have a date soon for you. We signed off on a Friday and they told us the run# and expected delivery date on the following Monday. They originally said 8/3 delivery and now its set for 7/31.

i think they have gotten exponentially busier since then.....
you ordered before the tampa RV show....correct ?

I'm not sure when the Tampa show was, but that could be true.
