2019 DS MCD Auto Shade Controls

Did Newmar remove the on-wall controls for automatic shades on the 2019 Dutchstar? I walked a 4018 yesterday and the only controls for the MCD auto shades were in the front (drivers and passengers seat), one in the rear bath and the remote.

Yes, there is a new style hand-held remote that is much smaller.

They revised to hand-held remotes for 2018. There's 1 for the front and 1 for the rear bedroom.

Do two (2) controls come with the 2019's as well?

Are they interchangeable or do they only work in the area they are for?

They are programmed individually. They work great. No issues.

I'm glad we still have the wall-mounted controls in our 2018 MADP. I can usually find the wall, but frequently have a hard time finding remotes.

I mounted the living room one by the recliners with the Velcro Command strips (the ones used to hang pictures) so it shouldn’t damage the wallpaper. Click image for larger version
