We have a Whirlpool that is making bad noises when running. Supposedly this can be due to either one of the 2 fans or the compressor itself.

I am out of warranty from Newmar, unsure of the warranty from Whirlpool and not sore what direction to go for service.

An appliance technician will work on the fridge. You are most likely going to have to get it pulled out before they get there. Just so you know. I just spent six months waiting for a part for my ice maker. Parts are in short supply or nonexistent. I have new homes by me that are waiting on appliances.

Is it still cooling?

My 2016 Whirlpool was making a strange noise from the fan in the freezer compartment. The noise was from ice build up around the fan. Repairman said I needed a new control board as the fridge wasn’t defrosting. New board but same problem. I called Newmar and they referred me to a repair facility they use. The technician was great and said change the defrost thermostat which I did myself. Problem solved.
