2019 Mountain Aire
Looking at buying a 2019 Mtn Aire with a Spartan chassis. Have there been any mechanical issues, issues with slide mechanisms, upholstery fabric, ect. that I should be aware of when looking at it? Thanks Tom

I would run the VIN to see if there are any recall issues unresolved. It may or may not be part of the fuel rail recall. The only other concern I would have would be the DEF sensor because that year was in the heart of the sensor problem time period. If it has a Gen 6 or 7 it has already been changed.

For the OP - curious if you decided to purchase the Mountain Aire and if so what you think of it so far.

Deciding to purchase one of these beasts is just the beginning of your problems-lol. That said, the Mountain Aire is a very nice coach and is awesome but owning one of these higher end coaches is nothing but problems so be ready and have plenty of discretionary income to keep it well serviced and functioning properly. I am just trying to be real-it is a lot like owning a boat-actually my boats require less maintenance but they never see salt water which is another game. I would recommend a third party inspection as well.

We've had very few issues with our 2019 MA. While there are issues that you may be aware of.... DEF heads, Slide out motor bolts, and in our most recent issue, entry door covering shrinking away from the trim on the lower edge, the Mountain Aire has been a very good coach. We are loving ours.

We decided not to purchase the Mtn Aire and instead found a used 21 DS 4369. Just brought it home tonight and have gotten it stuck in the snow. Thanks for all your replies.

Just wondering if you drove the Mtn Aire as well. If so, how did it compare to the DS as far as power, handling, ride or any other thoughts?

I can't really compare. I only drove the Mtn Aire a short distance and without a tow. DS has plenty of power. Turning radius is great on the 21 Spartan.
