I removed the ceiling in the 3rd bay back on drivers side and looked for the splice to no avail. Wondering if maybe I am not looking in correct place or not seeing something, any help or pictures would be appreciated.

It’s the basement ceiling panel next to the clear plastic covered electric panels. It may be within a loom but it runs through that area.

I found the wire tie in one of the 1 inch looms and they were connected with a crimped wire tie, I am scheduled to get it in to a shop soon to check our the front AC controller. BTW that is what Newmar is saying it is. Good luck

As I reported earlier I have been chasing the front temp issue for awhile and have finally got it into the shop and they got it fixed. I had changed the sensor and checked the splices in the basement but it turned out to be the connection at the control board on front AC. I don't do roofs or it would have been fixed earlier.

I wonder where the splice might be on a Gasser Country Star 3513?

I am sorry I have no idea, I believe you have a thermostat and that may be somewhat different.

My Canyon Star gasser 3513 Has the same setup 2 zone thermostat as well as the remote sensors in the walls. So I'm wondering where my splice may be located.

Mine were in a wire bundle that was in a plastic shroud about 1 to 1 1/2 Inch in diameter in the 3rd bin back above the ceiling on the drivers side. The only way to find them was to open the bundle and look, there were 2 such bundles. It was the bin with the fuses on the side
My coach does not have a wall thermostat and the sensors wire feed to the front AC on the roof and the silverleaf gets its temp from the AC.
I would suggest you call Newmar and ask where and if there is a splice. They advised me they felt it was the AC control board and not the splice based on their experience with false readings. They were correct and it was a loose connecter.
I hope this helps
