2020 Bay Star Sport 3014

Greetings,

We are at the final decision point of choosing between ordering a 2020 BSS 2813, or taking the new 2020 BSS 3014 they just got in-all at a very similar price. My question is about the NCC yellow sticker on the door of the 3014. Although it is by no means loaded up it is showing a NCC of 1313 pounds! The Newmar spec sheet shows it to be a NCC of approximately 3270 lbs. Do you have any idea of the disparity of these numbers? Do you happen to know what other 3014 and 2813 yellow weight stickers say?

Thank you everyone for your insight,

Mike

Welcome to the forum, Mike
Any added options by dealer will change weights from a unloaded basic coach.
Here is a Owners Guide for you, no Brochures as yet.
You need this information also.
All stickies and links below in my signature also have info.
Good luck with your Newmar and safe travels.

I’d be concerned the chassis being at max GVW won’t help handling. And check the remaining GCWR to see what you can tow. Our BS 2903 had about 3k of CCC as I recall. And it never really handled well, which I attribute to the short wheelbase.

Just notice its a BSS here is that owners guide might be a difference.
They may talk about weights in the guide I would check their discussion.
