2020 Ventana Hitch Height at Ride Height

We are making preps to pick up our Ventana 3709 at the factory in May. New to RVing, but we will be driving our CR-V up and flat towing it back.

I have all the toad equipment on order and will install it prior to heading out, but the missing detail that I can't determine based on not having the coach in advance is what the coach's receiver height will be at ride height. Not sure if we will need a drop hitch receiver, or not, but would like to have what I need before getting there.

I do know the CR-V bracket height will be 16.5".

If anyone can provide the 2020 Ventana hitch height at ride height, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks,

Mike

Good question, I asked something similar before the FPU on my Ventana 4362. I am parked right now so I can’t measure ride height on the coach. I tow a Grand Cherokee and the tow hooks are 17” off ground and when we tow it is level with the coach. Based on this you should be fine.

Perfect, thanks! The towbar I'm getting has a small amount of height adjustability, as well, so we should be set. I appreciate your response!

I believe the Blue Ox specs are to be within 1.5” of level

Thanks! The Demco Excali-bar III I'm getting has a +/- 3" from level requirement and the head/height of the tow bar can be adjusted a little bit during the setup process. I want to get it as close to perfectly level as I can and it should be possible, I think.

Hi We have a 2018 3715 Ventana. Different year and model but I believe the chassis specs are the same or at least were in 2018. We flat tow a 2013 CRV with Blue OX and did not need a drop hitch. The tech at North Trail said +/- 3 in is ok. Ours lines up almost level.
