More coach than chassis-related, but make sure you're familiar with the ongoing issues of slide motor mount bolts coming loose/requiring tightening or more permanent fix. This one, if not attended on a regular basis, will cost big dollars and big headache! Otherwise, our 2018 Bay Star is super (and we full-time in it)!

for a start on this issue.

We've put ~17k miles on our 21 3226 and like it very much. We've had some issues both chassis and Newmar, but oiverall would still buy again. I think you have to expect to continually address mechanical and maintenance issues with any coach. It may be your last coach but it will need some attention along the way.

Chassis
Ford recalls ... rear diff oil & rear stabilizer bolts
Parking brake ... failed to fully release & destroyed itself, complete
replacement
Pinion seal on rear diff failed and had to be replaced
Our nearest Ford service location is 180 mi away, know where yours is

Newmar
Entry door fit is poor, screen door replaced once
Entry step mechanism broke, had to be rebuilt
Awning wind sensor goes thru batteries quickly
Bath door top hinge broke, rebuilt
Furnace shuts down intermittently, still chasing
Water heater issues (on propane) in high wind, still chasing
EQ leveling system auto function doesn't work, use manually

Sorry to hear about all your issues. We’ve had our Bay Star for about 3 months. We had to have the entrance door adjusted and agree that the auto mode on Equalizer is terrible. Take care and wishing you the best on any remaining issues.
