2021 BS3626 Wobbly Sofa Under Televator

Happy owner of 2021 BS 3626 in all respects with one nagging issue. The pull-out sofa under the televator is not secure and tips forward with the least amount of weight put on it. The base support rail of the sofa extends about 10" out beyond the lip of the slide floor. It simply is not bolted down or otherwise secured properly to floor. I tried adding a couple more lag bolts but it did not improve situation and I am not quite sure what I am bolting/screwing into.

Has anyone else had this issue? If so, what was the remedy?

Thanks

Isn't that a warranty issue? Isn't your warranty still in effect? I'd check on that first.

The sofa on mine is solid and doesn't move regardless of the slide being in or out. Did you check the front feet of the sofa? They should be touching the floor (or very close to it) when the slide is out.

Typically the furniture bolts are carriage bolts that come up through the floor on furniture that is in a slide.

I just removed the heavy electrically deployed couch/bed in the living room slide in my Winnebago and it had heavy duty #10 wood screws holding it to the slide's floor. 4 per side so 8 all together. The only bolts coming up from underneath were 1/2" bolts for the seat belts. It made into a short queen as it had a 'trundle board' that pulled out and up from underneath to form the last foot and a half of the bed.

Thanks Justin.....carraige bolts is how things were attached on my last Newmar, but not this one! This has 4" lag screws that clearly are not getting the job done.
