2021 Essex oasis performance

i am looking into 2021 Essex. I tried to check the oasis heating system. I couldnt see any outlets on the floor (i did see some in the bathroom) when i turned it on, hot air came from the ceiling, it seems, they are the same outlets as the a/c. Am i missing something, or, did i turn the a/c heat pump?

If heat was coming from the ceiling, you had the heat pump on. The Oasis outlets are typically near the floor in the bedroom and within cabinets near the floor elsewhere.

You need to have the thermostat set to furnace and the fan to auto. Otherwise the roof units will turn on to "circulate" the heat. There are no floor registers, only the front under dash and the outlets in the cabinets. In bedroom and bath theyare in the wall.

Yes, if the air was coming from ceiling vents the heating system was set to heat pump. To change this option you have to navigate to the Oasis option on climate control screen and change the heat source. This screen allows the user to change the heat source: heat pump only, Oasis, both heat pump and Oasis, or "Automatic" (system detects what is needed and responds accordingly). The Oasis burner must be on to provide enough BTU’s for space heating.

It is amazing how much the "best" sales man don't know about the main product they sell, not to mention the other sales people that know even less.
thank you all.
