2021 Ventana Shower Head

So we took our new Ventana for a little two day excursion just to see how it was before getting it winterized.

One of the things that was a little off to us was the main shower head. It is basically shooting directly at the doors and will not rotate down.

Naturally the first time turning the shower on resulted in water shooting out all over the bathroom.

My question is has anyone changed out this head to solve this issue. The fix to having that not to happen was to shut that head off and start with the wand head but that does require remembering to shut the main one off before you get out.

Plus the main one points so far out it really doesn't hit you to well anyway.

It basically needs to point a few inches more downward...

Im sure some of you have fixed this issue?

Thanks again

Stupid design for sure. I tried a different head but clearance was an issue. I added 2 short extensions that swivel allowing me to aim the existing head properly.

Same situation for us. Purchased an extension and all is good.

Here is what we put in our super star. I put two so the shower head will point straight down..

Thanks! We recently got a new 2021 Ventana 4369 and love it. This is an issue to solve on my project list. You solved it for me.

Another issue is getting a sewer connection that will go through sewer bay discharge hole. Bought a Rhinoflex 90, but it won't fit. Now trying to find another 90 that is shorter horizontally (to enable fitting in discharge hole). Hopefully that will work. I will discharging through an open bay door until this is solved.

If you find a solution please post. Can’t believe that Newmar missed the placement of this discharge hole. I’ve gotten around it on our 21 ventana by using a 2 foot very flexible extension I bought at camper world. It’s not ideal but it’s functional.

My dealer gave me the pictured Valtera 90° fitting. It works perfectly on mine.

Thanks Tomato. I ordered a Valtera 90 yesterday. Looks shorter on horizontal vs RhinoFlex. I hope I have similar success as you have.

If you grab onto the sewer outlet, which is probably facing out, you will find that you can swivel it to face down.

That’s what I do. Rotate it down and connect it then. A tight fit but it works.
