2022 Ventana Questions

Good morning fellow Newmar owners.

If you have the new WIFI Ranger Converge . ( Denali ), maybe you can help me. Our new coach came with one and I HAVE TRIED to get it operational with NO SUCCESS. I can see the network, but i cannot get it to see the internet? Do I have to contact Winegard or AT&T ???

If so does anyone have a contact number for Winegard???

Thanks in advance for any and all assitatnce with this issue

Unless you activate that SIM card it will never work. I assume you meant Ventana?

The newly revised and expanded WiFiRanger User Manual can be found here: https://wifiranger.com/wp-content/up...1-09152021.pdf

As has already been mentioned, a SIM has been installed in your Ranger as a courtesy. It most likely is a FreedomGo SIM managed by our parent company Winegard. If it is a FreedomGo, data plans can be purchased using the WiFiRanger's control panel. How to do this is discussed in the user manual.

However, you do not have to purchase a FreedomGo plan in order to use the modem in your rooftop Denali. You can use any other AT&T or T-Mobile "data only" (hotspot) plan that you wish.

After you have reviewed the material in the User Manual you can also open a customer service ticket at WiFiRanger.com either by phone or email as is explained here: https://wifiranger.com/support/#contact

Hi. I have the same problem and dealer said I have to call Winegard to setup: 208-321-5544. Hope this helps.

No, you don't have to call WiFiRanger to get things set up but you can if you wish. I suggest that even if you decide you want to call, it would make sense to look through the user manual that I referenced in a previous post. That way you'd understand more about the system and it would help make your phone call more productive.
