As has already been mentioned, a SIM has been installed in your Ranger as a courtesy. It most likely is a FreedomGo SIM managed by our parent company Winegard. If it is a FreedomGo, data plans can be purchased using the WiFiRanger's control panel. How to do this is discussed in the user manual.
However, you do not have to purchase a FreedomGo plan in order to use the modem in your rooftop Denali. You can use any other AT&T or T-Mobile "data only" (hotspot) plan that you wish.
After you have reviewed the material in the User Manual you can also open a customer service ticket at WiFiRanger.com either by phone or email as is explained here:
