Our new BS3124 had the optional fridge with a total of 4 house batteries. The bill of sale clearly shows the option and that it comes with the inverter and 2 additional batteries. There are 2 for the fridge, 2 for the rest. Runs the fridge just fine while we drive, however WTS we are usually plugged in. JP

If you go to the Build a Coach portion of the website you can see a list of options for your model and floor plan.

Here are the two sections that allow you to add the residential refrigerator and extra inverter.

Based on this I suspect you’ll end up with four 12v house batteries.

Somewhere buried in Newmar's literature there is a statement that if 2 or more options are ordered that require inverters a single 200w inverter will be substituted but the build order will still show separate inverters. I can not quickly that statement at the moment, but it is there. In reviewing my production order it indicates the the two options I mentioned in a previous post with 2 12200 w inverters and 2 extra batts. But that is not what was actually installed. I did have some specials done as part of the build but they were not tied to the inverter/battery system.
I would be very surprised if the your coaches do not ship with a Xantrex 2000XC & six 6 volt GC2's.

Let us know.

EDIT:
Found the document I was looking for. This is from Newmar's year 2020 changes document that was sent to dealers.

"Just a note that, whenever any 2020 Bay Star order calls for 2 or more options that require additional dedicated inverters, the multiple optional inverters will be replaced with a single 2000 watt inverter with six 6 volt batteries to power all of the selected options. This will not be visible on the order forms, and nothing changes with regard to descriptions of the individual options on the order forms. This is simply an electrical configuration that will be defaulted to whenever 2 order more options with dedicated inverters are called for on an individual ordered Bay Star."

This is what occurred when I ordered my 2020 Canyon Star 3710! I do have 6 batteries & a 2000 watt Xantrax inverter!

Hope this helps!

Awesome! thanks Steve-W, Jabber Jaw and everyone else for your responses! 6 6v's should be a good setup for me, maybe upgrade when they need to be replaced.

Too much time on my hands waiting for delivery ...

While your waiting...
If you plan to hook up a 12 volt charge line the wire is in place front to back but not connected on either end. Took about 30 minutes to make the needed connections. Also if you have plans for a remote brake indicator in the coach for a toad brake system u can use the brake wire (blue) that is connected to the 7 pin and ends in the brake controller wiring in the cockpit. The needed pigtail should be wire tied to the ford harness. Let me know if you need further details.

Thanks everyone when we ordered our 3014 with the upgraded refrigerator with the 2 extra batteries and 1200 inverter and the other 1200 inverter to run all the bed room stuff no one told us about the 2000 inverter. I just found about this from this post so now I know and thank you everyone for the information. Now the long wait continues.

eblues & yellow73 if you have any questions I will do what I can to answer. I'm stationary for the winter in SW PA so plenty of time on my hands with the coach beckoning me from the driveway. We will be on the road starting early April for 6 months or so.
We ordered the 1st week of March as soon as the 21 build sheets were released and took delivery mid July. Left for a 2 month trip 3 days later. So far we spent 80 nights and about 7,000 mi in the coach. We are very happy with it.

Thanks for your willingness to help, I'll pay it back to the forum when I can. I did run a charging line and a brake indicator line to the front of my Jeep. I understand Newmar installs a brake indicator line and where I can find it, but not clear on the charging line. Where can I find this line?

Also, does the Xantrex XC provide battery charging and 12v power or do you still have a converter?

The Xantrex XC is a combined charger/converter/inverter. It is a very capable high quality unit.
If you PM me an email address i will send you a document with all you need to know to set up a charge line with the Newmar provided wires that are in place.
