2nd Rearview Monitor

Our CS3911 uses the Mito Perimeter View monitor for the review and side cameras. I would like to add a second monitor for passenger view as the CS dash is angled toward the driver.

There is not a video out on the monitor. Is there some other way to get the camera feeds to a second monitor with this system in place?

Depending on the video cable you can add a splitter, pretty easy to do.

If its a RCA cable or BNC I can point you to the right connector type

Upload a photo of the camera connector where it connects to the monitor.
Cheers!

I'm working on a actual picture. Does this from the manual shed any light on the issue? Thanks Bob.

RCA Connectors

It helps but I still need photos.

So the object on the left that has the single DIN connector going to it, is that your monitor?

The center object with all of the wires going to and from it shows at the top a Red DC, White Audio, and a Yellow Video RCA connector.
I can't tell if those are input or output connections.
If they are output, you can plug a monitor with a RCA yellow input to that yellow connector. Your monitor will need seperate power of course.
However, they may be input connections, which won't help you with a second monitor.

Send me the photos and I'll dig into the manufacturer info on this system to see what I can find out. You should be able to split the signal from your camera regardless.

I would like a photo of the camera connections too.

Cheers,
Bob
