Talked with Mike Butler the national marketing manger for Spartan this afternoon and when I asked the warranty on all Newmar Spartan chassis he said 5 years and 75K miles. Spartan has been offering the 5/75 warranty for those Newmar owners who paid a up charge for the Spartan chassis and is going to offer that for all high line coach which are only built on Spartan chassis but also other model that have Spartan chassis. Our 18 London on a Spartan K-3 only had the 3/36 warranty as do all Entegra which are only built on Spartan chassis even in the 2021 models. Newmar wanted this for their diesel coaches and Spartan agreed to keep it as in the recent passed. FL is still only offering the 3/36 warranty for their Newmar owners.
Haven't need much warranty work on our other Newmar's all on Spartan chassis and don''t think we will on our K-3 605.

Thanks for the info, Tom. Does that warranty include the engine or is that a separate Cummins warranty?

The engine is covered by a 5 year Cummins warranty and the transmission is covered by a 5 year Allison warranty.

On our Freightliner it was $1625 to extend the chassis warranty to 5 years and the axle warranty to 7 years from Freightliner.

Yes, but I bought the extended 5 year,100,000 mile warranty including axle coverage for my XCR Freightliner for less than the money one would pay to "upgrade" to a Spartan chassis.

Same here, $1600 for the Freightliner five year warranty and extended axle warranty.

Did you guys purchase that with the coach or separately from FL?

It can be purchased directly from Freightliner. If you buy it after 18 months the price is 25% higher and after 30 months you can not buy it.

There is $0 deductible on the plan.
