Question 98 DSDP Spartan Brake Job?

The rear brake shoe linings are getting a little thin(1/4"-3/8") so I'm gonna do a DIY rear axle brake job. Any advice on $$$, who, what, when, where, and how would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Don

I hope you have some large jacks, sockets, wrenches and some heat in case you need it. I was going to attempt it when the time comes but I don't have jacks large enough to handle the weight.

lonestarace, I decided to check a bit further into doing our 94. I called Newmar to confirm what axles this thing has. A local supplier has the linings and spring/master kit for dirt cheap on these things, I was actually surprised how inexpensive they were.

My axles are Eaton 19050S and 12F4:
Front kits includes linings and springs/master kit part #1009353 $64.74 each (2 needed).
Rears include linings and master kit part #807182 $68.47 each (2 needed).

Of course that's with exchange at PTS Give em a call, they had plenty in stock.
