Nice job, I almost put mine in the same spot but chickened out on cutting a hole. Was thinking about the Oasis also. I looked at fuel flow meters but couldn't find what I thought would work. I hadn't thought about using an hour meter. Maybe hook it to the Oasis fuel pump and that would give the same result.

10 Fan, thank you so much for the pic of your shelf mods. This helps me a lot is seeing your finished project. It gives me confidence to give it a try. Very clean installs.

The hole wasn't as easy I thought to cut as the plastic is thicker than anticipated. I just drilled a small hole in each corner and my Dremel to cut between the holes.

Actually I was considering using the same meter. It just needs a power source to run the meter from whatever you are trying to monitor. I am wondering if the control switch for the Oasis Diesel burner in the drivers overhead could be tapped into to provide the trigger for activating the meter. Since the Oasis unit has an hour meter, my second option would be to tap into the wiring on the Oasis unit and run a wire up thru the floor into my bath electric cabinet, but much more work and not as convenient.

Your Oasis unit has an hour meter?

Yes the oasis meter is on the TOP side of the big green box that has the burner in it. VERY difficult to read..

On the top of the Oasis, but difficult to read. I just assumed that they all had an hour meter. It only records the diesel usage, not the electric.

Hey 10 Fan - are the led docking lights a significant upgrade over the OEM Incandescent lights? I had ordered some replacement led lights but they were awful in terms of light out put.

I added the stainless rings some time ago after I had the LED docking lights from M4.(and yes the made a huge difference) I had to enlarge the trim rings to accommodate the LEDs. Easy to do with a dremel and cutting wheel. Maybe this is not the case with newer coaches but was on my 15 DS.

I will check oasis tomorrow for the hour meter, never noticed it.

The docking lights were brighter but the beam pattern was more narrow.
The ring fit perfect on mine and the lights snapped in.
