A Peek inside a 2018 New Aire

I was over at Midway RV the other day. The 2018 New Aire is a model that was not available last year. Good thing. I probably would have spent a lot more money.

Some quick observations:
  • Under storage is amazing for a coach this size. They did something with the chassis rails to raise them out of the way in the basement.
  • Three interior steps instead of two. Much nicer for my old man knees!
  • Seamless tile floor due to the hydraulic slides. Nice!
  • The exit door is something they should put on all models. Just makes so much sense.
  • The interior finish is nice. Not too glitzy like you see in the luxury models.
  • The cockpit is super cool!
My cell phone camera is not the best.

The basement looks nice and clean, no wires exposed. Hopefully the rest of the Newmar line will follow the lead.

Nope, didn't miss it. Just thought some would be interested in a different perspective.

Waywards, Mike, pictures tell a good story; thank you . By chance, can you say the distance between the bed and the wall and closet are sufficient for big old grown guy to enter? And, are there drawers or shelves below the nightstands on each side of the bed? Being a buyer, or person of interest, you would possibly notice those things. Hopefully the brochures will be publish soon to give more details, but until they are, must ask these strange questions. Thanks.

Bedroom size looks to be same as my 3412 and yes there is plenty of space to walk around the end of the bed.

Did you have a chance to determine if the engine is a 360 HP ISL w/1250 # torque like the Newmar specs show or a 360 HP ISB w/800 # torque like the Newmar New Aire video presenter mentions?

I thought the 360 degree birds eye view was awesome. Wish I could use it squirming back into my parking pad beside my garage at home.

Have a nice day - Darrel

Freightliner Custom Chassis shows that the 360hp is the ISB 800 hp with side radiator on the XCS chassis.
