Just over 5,000 miles per year for the past nine years, on our second RV now. Both of us still working, mostly weekend trips and one or two longer (1-2 week) trips.

I have been looking for a used class a coach for many months. I can tell you from the mileage I see on these fairly old coaches that most people if they answer honestly would say "not many" miles or "not as many as we thought we would". I see a lot of 15-25 year old coaches with less than 50,000 miles!

My DW and I owned a class c for the past few years. In the last 2 years I put over 20,000 miles on it. We are still in the working class....well she is...I try to make mine as much like play as I can (as long as we are being honest).

In another thread I started I was advised to purchase a gas coach unless I was traveling at least 10K miles per year. From the results of your poll so far I am seeing a LOT of nice DP coaches with WAY less annual miles than that. Thanks for starting this thread. Enlightening.

Last year 8000 miles. Going to Alaska this year, so probably 12-14,000. Next year will probably be back around 8.

5,500 =/_ over 13 years while working. Hope to see that come up a little in the next few years.

Coach was 12 years old when purchased with 53,000 miles by the two previous owners .
30,000 miles in the 7 years since .
Call 4,500 the lifetime average on the RV.
Increased use revolves around the price of diesel .

We use it around the SE and are never gone more than 2 weeks at a time. We average about 4500 miles/year, and don't see much change in the future.

A question for everybody, please

We purchased our 2002 MADP that had 49,000 miles on it in 2014 and have put roughly 6,500 miles on it each year with our short weekend trips and vacations.

We purchased our 2012 Dutch Star new in 2012. With a trip to AZ Spring Training baseball and three months away from the S&B, we have averaged 7800 miles per year. I am very lucky to have a wife who loves to tour around as much as I do!

We average 12000 now, down from over 20000 about five years ago.

Miles traveled

5500 in 12 months. Trip to Nappanee counts for 25% of the miles.
Hopefully more in 2019 after DW retires.
