A V Mod.

We have what I call, a mid-ship TV. It had a stationary mount which made it impossible to get to the back of the TV. So, long story short, I changed that mount for one that allows me to swing the TV out of the cabinet, and installed a strap to secure the TV while on the road.

To get the old mount removed I had to remove all the AV equipment and pry up the floor of that cabinet in order to be able to remove the TV and mount.

The back side of the AV cabinet is in the bathroom, so I knocked out the center panel and had a cabinet maker friend install a door to make it much easier to access the all the cabling connections.

Cheers,
Don
