If you go into the big black suitcase that came with the unit the thermostat manual should have a listing of what the e codes are. The times i have gotten E codes on my system were when the voltage was too low to get the compressor going.

Zone two is working fine, but i have noticed there are some ceiling lights that are bery dim. Sounds like a low viltage issue to me as well

E-7 usually means you have no 120v. Try turning Zone 2 off and see if you have enough power for Zone 1. Your generator may not have enough output to run both simultaneously.

The Dometic manual says code E7 is loss of 120 Vac power to all modules boards on the system.

You will get that code if you unplug from Shore Power or turn the generator off while either AC is still running. It should reset when you turn the system on/off.

Apparently this is a common issue with 2015 CS, ours does it any time we turn on the Gen with the air system on, I have noticed that if I turn off the water heater electric, sometimes it will work, but the same breaker on the Generator (not inside which would be nice) goes everytime. We just got use to making sure Air system is off before starting generator or turning generator off.
So you are not alone and neither are we,
