Added Hot & Cold Hose Bibb to front of coach

My 2015 DSDP didn't come with a front under hood Spigot/Hose Bibb so I decided to finally add one. I'll attach several pictures to show where I ran the PEX and added the Spigot along with a new Faucet so I could run hot, cold or both to it. Also to run a separate hose for the black tank rinse. There will be a couple more items added such as separate shut off valves and another 1 way check valve for the Black Tank Flush. I'll add those picks once the parts come in.

The faucet that I purchased thanks to another thread:
https://www.irv2.com/forums/f103/add...et-533399.html
needed to have the white plastic original mount ground down inside since the threaded ends of the faucet were much shorter then the original faucet. Also the threaded end needed to screw on the new faucet end needed several extra rounds of Teflon tape, (should have used paste Teflon,) to seal properly.

The mount for the Front Hood Faucet was just some 1" PVC with a T end and a 4" u bolt to hold it to the frame. Works great!

Man oh man you really getting up town! Hot and cold running water and indoor plumbing doesn’t get much better than that! You should have the cleanest windows around now.

All kidding aside looks really good thanks for sharing the info

That's what I was thinking. How nice for cleaning the bugs. Right now I use bucket that I fill at the bibb in the water bay. That sounds sweet.

We're staying at a beach site in Ft Myers Beach for a few weeks and our biggest use of this new addition to my coach is mixing the cold and hot water for warm water to rinse off our fur kids outside, lots of sand, hit the hose faucet and ready to go. Temps have been as low as 52 degrees and highs in the upper 70's and warm water is sure a plus for them and us.. We did use it once with hot water to help remove a few bugs on the nose when we got here so that was nice as well. So we have options of tempurature which was my main purpose of doing it this way.

I have also used it for hot water flushing of our black tank. Works well to clear off my 2/3 full sensor that it was stuck on.
