Adding emergency door to rear bath

We were talking to another NKK member about their Ventana which didn't come with the emergency door on their 14 coach. They went to Newmar and had it done to their Ventana and it cost 7K dollars for complete addition. Only time will tell if they need it and what value it adds to their coach when selling.

It’s like insurance. Very expensive if you never use but very cheap if you do.

Probably could have a body shop do it for less, but you pay more to have the correct materials, like wall paper used it in the remodel. Not a bad idea. We'll hopefully never use ours, but I think it's a great feature.

Not a bad deal. We asked how much to change out the emergency door on our 2017 DS 4018 to the next years version with the drop down ladder and were told $10,000.

Wow! I would love to see some pics of that mod to their 2014 Ventana.
