Adding slide trays to basement
I would like to add slide trays to my two basement compartments that don’t have trays.
Does anyone know the manufacturer of the ones Newmar uses? I would like to keep them the same if it is cost effective. I know there are other companies out there, but the ones they use seem very durable.
Seems like a very easy install as well.

I don't have the brand name, but they are easy to install. When I ordered my coach, I only wanted a slide in the 3/4 bay since you can't reach the other side. Somewhere along the line, the order got mixed up. While watching our coach being built, I noticed it was missing the slide. I called my dealer and he said he would have one shipped to the dealership. It was there when my coach arrived. What I didn't know....is that they (at least mine) came without a bottom. It was just the frame. We lifted it into the bay and I took the coach home.
Once home, I positioned it where I wanted it and then drove several screws through the base into the floor. Because of it's large width, I bought a sheet of 3/4 quality plywood and some grey indoor/outdoor carpet from Home Depot. I covered the plywood with the carpet and dropped it into the slide tray.

Jeff:
In my coach (same year as yours), Newmar used "Journeyman" slide hardware made by Keyline in Elkhart, Indiana. Here's a link to the manufacturer.

You might call Colaw RV salvage in Carthage Missouri. They have all makes and sizes removed from salvage motorhomes.

I had the factory add full slides to all my bays. If I had it to do over again I would put in half length trays. With full length trays you are limited to what can be put in by what fits under the frame.

I did the same, Ernie, and have the same observation. If I had it to do over, they would all be half-length slides.
