Adding Toad to TripTek on King Aire

A while ago I asked about adding my tow car to the TPMS included in the TripTek unit on my King Aire. I never posted the information on how I resolved this, so belatedly I among sharing this information. Sorry for the delay.

I contacted Coretronics and spoke directly to Jared Jobes. Here is the response I got from him:

The tow car kit for you coach is listed below.* The kit will include antenna, coupler, sensors, bands, and instructions.

02-09069* * * * Tow Car Kit* * * * $295.00

Check to be sure which system is used.

1. Turn on TripTek and first screen is Checklist
2. Look to left of where it says Checklist, on the same line.
3. If it says 2635 it is a Valor system
4. If has no numbers to the left of Checklist, it is a SmartTire system

I had the sensors installed in my tires at a nearby tire store for $100, including balancing. I had Spartan install the antenna when I had it in for service because I couldn't figure out which wire to connect it to. I did the installation on the TripTek myself following the instructions provided.

Works great!

I wonder if I could do that with our SmarTire system? Might have to check into it since I'm going to need new sensors on the MH when I get new tires.
