Adventures of Newbee - sometimes it's the little things

Hello Newbee followers. Today we suggest two small things you may want to check on your coach

First, I decided to clean the filters on the AC vents. They were a little dirty and had a smell of varnish to them. I noticed that the velcro these were attached to looked like the installer did not take the time to apply it straight or to completely adhere it to the surface. So especially if you have a new(er) coach check this. If left too long the adhesion will dry out and you will have to replace it. Also if the velcro is loose you will have air by passing the filter and may get dirt into your ducts.

Second. If you haven't noticed on your outside storage doors they should have a plastic cover over the opening mechanism. I found that half (6) of the doors did not have these covers installed. Yep this is going on the warranty work list.

Newbee safety tip of the day. We all love our comfort drive. Makes driving in wind much less stressful. But if you have the dial set to 6 and that class C that just passed you is contacting the road only on the driver/passenger tires (or worst you are in this condition). You might want to slow down. Bad things might happen on the next wind gust.

JMH,

Can you post a picture of the covers you mentioned? I don't think I got any.

Thanks.

JMH,

We're short six mechanism covers too. Just to compare notes, the missing are: the electrical compartment under driver, lp gas/battery compartment, water compartment, def compartment, chassis battery compartment, and the compartment just behind the right rear wheels.

Will have to check when it gets light again. I don't see anything difference between the mechanisms besides the covers though.

Mark, thanks for letting us know! We will check.

Very sorry we didn't get to meet and see your coach and visa versa. Hopefully we will meet soon! Enjoy your travels!
