After 3 plus years we finally have a shower to love
Here at a Newmar rally in Jackson Ca. and with other Newmar owners complaining about their shower decided to take it a part and see what is causing the low water pressure. Looked at a couple You Tube video but could find the brand of shower control name had to do a little more work to get ours working like at home. Had to use the adjuster at top of the shower to turn down the spray coming out of the head. After taking it apart and make the changes it was worth the hour it toke to make the change and now it can be done in 10 minutes. Our coach is a 18 LA and am not sure if all Newmar's our using this shower head.
1 Using a small allen wrench remove the shower handle
2 Remove the 2 phillips head screws that hold the ring on
3 Only used my hands to on screw the brass control for shower but might need a adjustable wrench to remove
4 On screwing the assembly by hand with the purpose to remove the red ring which limits the handle movement.
5 By removing the red ring you now can have full travel of handle for both hot and cold water
6 Open both the water valves for both hot and cold water with a screw driver which have brass controls
7 Put back together and with the removing the limiting piece and opening the two water inlet valves be ready for a big improvement when it's shower time.
