AGS

We are Boondocking for our first time. Have a 2013 Dutch Star 4318 with a Onan 10K Gen and a Magnum Inverter.

Set to at start at 11.8 V run for 3.5 hours and quiet time @ 9pm to7PM.

Setup as above 12.8 V it starts and runs all afternoon?

I don't get it.

Help

Is it possible you have it set to start on temperature versus voltage? Check to make sure that you didn’t inadvertently enable the start on temperature.

Ask me how simple it is to mess up that control!

I’d also set to start at 12.1 or 12.2 since that’s about 50% discharged 11.8 getting down there.

11.8 volt start up is fine. The 12.1 volt figure is correct but that measurement would have to be taken on a bank of batteries resting without any draw for 30 minutes. This case never exists in these all electric motorhomes and thus 11,8 or 11.9 is a good approximation otherwise just something small turning on or off can cause a premature AGS start cycle.

So, on the screen where you see quiet time, the “start" time is in the evening, say, 10:00 PM, and the "end" time is in the morning, say 9:00am.

When I first saw it I had to think about it for a bit…
