Air Bag Inflation & Level Duration

On my 2015 Essex with a Freightliner chassis... I notice the bags loose their air in a day or even overnight, if i do not have the hydraulic jacks deployed. The rear tends to sag ahead of the front ... but ultimately it all ends up on the mechanical stops or bumpers.

Is this typical? I thought that for a quick overnight stop the air bag system was supposed to be a viable alternative to the hydraulic system.

Thanks for insights and your experience.

Mine used to remain inflated for a couple weeks, then it slowly changed to 1 day. This is the 2nd time, the first time Camping Woirld replaced the rear dump valve and solved the issue.
Now the rear does as yours, and the front dump valve is sticking partially open when air pressure falls when in storage. If I use the auto-level function the dump valve closes as it should.
I've been underneath with a spray bottle of kids bubble soap several times, that dump valve is the only leak I've found.

Mine did the same until I replaced the air bags. Each one had very tiny pin hole leaks in the bottom of each bag.

Thanks for your experiences.. I suspected that overnight unintentional deflation was not as it was designed to function.

When I bought this 2015 Essex it had been sitting for a long period of time in an indoor heated storage facility, and while it was plugged in properly, it was not on the jacks. Not sure if this was proper or not. Could sitting for 18 months on deflated bags cause any harm to the air bags? I would suspect the the bumper or stops would be designed to prevent such issues, but I could be wrong.

How do you guys store your rigs ... jacks up or down?

Hi - You didn't mention if the spot you are parked at is level. If it is not level it would be perfectly normal to lose air over night as the leveling valves are trying to do their thing but have a limited air supply to work with. If the spot you are on is level it's time to find the leak.
