AC systems are clean on the inside. If the dryer was plugged then there's a issue with deterioration either in hoses or the compressor. That debris isn't something that just happens. Usually debris will clog the expansion valve or fixed orfice tube before it will clog a dryer. To verify you need a set of gauges to properly diagnose. If the high side runs into extreme pressures while the low side heads to a vacuum then you would have a clog in the system. You can't determine that with the diy kit and gauge.
