I carry a 150 psi pancake air compressor and it still takes time to air up just 5 psi.

Usually by engaging cruise control while in neuteral with the parking brake on. You can increase & decrease with the up & down speed arrows. My Safari / CAT had a dedicated high idle button.

I don't use it much anymore. My 2011 has a DPF filter and I've been advised to limit the amount of idle time.

Nice feature on the MH. Do all DPs have this? The DW and I are looking at a Fleetwood Excursion 35b. We will research this feature for sure!

If you have a Smart Wheel, press the accelerator to rev the engine to 1200-1500 RPM. Turn on the Cruise and hit Set. Take your foot off and it will stay around 1100 RPM. Turn off Cruise to go back to Idle.

There is only one set point. Mine is 1100 but sounds like yours is at 1000.

If you pressure is just 120, it may not be very beneficial filling the tires. As mentioned pick up a portable that would reach at least 150 psi. JMHO

What speeds you get and if there are two settings depends on your engine model and the manufacturer of your coach. The engine controls were set up to the manufacturer's specific specs.

My 2005 ISL400 has 1200 and 1400 RPM settings. I know for a fact that many coaches only have one setting.
