Air Intake and Water Drain

I was reading through the "Water in the Oil" post and decided to post my question on my Air Intake with water drain separately.

On my two previous DP's, both Winnebago Journeys, there was a fairly large plenum that came down from the air intake high on the rear driver's side corner and there was a drain at the bottom so any rain coming in the intake would not run into the air filter.

On the 2013 MADP 4336 I purchased earlier this year, I never could find that drain and while originally causing a question in my mind as to what would happen with water that got into the plenum, I kind of forgot about it until reading the issue the gentlemen with the New Aire has experienced.

Below are pictures of my air intake system (at least what I can see). I fail to see any way that water that got into my air intake would do anything but get sucked into the air filter. Now...I don't think it's been an issue because one of the very first things I did was to change the air filter and the one that was on there showed no evidence of water infiltration to the filter. But, I still wonder.

My air intake vent is just like on my Journeys...high on the back driver's side corner. This should limit any water getting in, unlike an intake mounted as described on the New Aire. Anyway...here's the pics. Can anyone tell me if this looks like theirs (on a MADP or other model) and if so, if you've ever found a water drain?

First pic shows where the "plenum" comes through from the air intake. No separate tube for water drainage coming down from above the "divider" that blocks my view of everything high behind the rear cap.

Second pic shows the first bend at the bottom. No water drainage tube or hole, etc coming out of that.

Third pic is the whole visible air intake piping from where it comes out to the air filter.

Unless there is something for drainage above that "ceiling divider" in the back cap that perhaps joins with one of the gutter drain tubes (that both come down on the passenger rear corner) I don't see any way that water going into the air intake would do anything but go into the air filter.

???

Did you read this post? It explains where the drain is. Yours should be similar.

And ideally no duplicate thread discussing same topic. It just gets confusing.

The drain is not necessarily in the plumbing, but in the air housing. Which is ontop of the plumbing you show pics of.
