All Tile Flat Floors

Now that all tile floors have been out for a bit, what's the overall feeling about them?

We compromised and played it safe for our first coach - a 2015 Tiffin Phaeton 40AH. Good value and nice features for the $$. We live in it full-time and consider ourselves fortunate and blessed to have semi-retired early and hit the road. We are having great fun!

The one thing we both don't care for is the tile/carpet flooring that every motorhome seems to have. We understand why it's done, but it's annoying balancing a dining chair on part tile/carpet, or working the recliner if part gets moved onto tile. The all tile floors look so much nicer too - clean and open.

Are there downsides and issues people have experienced?

It's hard not to dream about the "next" coach. We're not even close to that, but, I guess just saying that means "you never know!".

We love our all tile floor coach (and are especially glad we went with the upgraded King Aire floors). We also came from a Tiffin with the carpet slides, the DS is such a cleaner look & feel! At first on the 2016's, the issue was weight with the extra tile but Newmar corrected that and even fully loaded for us we have almost 6,000 lbs extra capacity.

We love our all tile floors and also have the upgraded King Aire tile. We came from a Monaco Diplomat with the carpet and did not care for the looks and did not enjoy a stain from a spilled glass of wine. The all tile provides a more open appearance.
